Specialty insurer Beazley has promoted Sydonie Williams to Head of International Cyber Risks.
Williams will assume the role immediately, having previously held the position of Focus Group Leader, RoW, Cyber Risks.
Beazley highlighted that since joining the firm in 2019, Williams has exhibited outstanding leadership and deep expertise, playing a key role in numerous successes, including the creation of its cyber catastrophe bond.
Before joining Beazley, Williams spent 9 years at Gen Re writing property and marine reinsurance in both the International and US markets.
Alessandro Lezzi, Group Head of Cyber Risks, and to whom Williams will report, commented, “Sydonie has been a central member of the cyber team and integral to our Full Spectrum Cyber offering.
